Ways to get involved in the campaign for better cycling conditions:

Bikescount

Twice a year NCM organises a count of bicycle traffic at strategic points around Newcastle. It takes 2 hours either on a Tuesday or Sunday morning and gives information that is very valuable for cycleway planning purposes. At the first one in October 2011 we counted 1285 people. Videos

Is there something about cycling you love or hate? Producing a short video is pretty easy, all you need is a camera, a computer and an idea. See the example made by Ben Ewald and Michel Poppinghouse when the Wallsend to Glendale cycleway was just a proposal.

Meetings

NCM meets at the Adamstown Club on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7pm. Just ask as the reception desk which room we are in.
