Exciting news! Work is in full swing on upgrading the cycleway and shared paths on Chinchen Street in Islington. The crew is kicking things off by tackling the shared paths right in front of Islington Public School on both Hubbard Street and Chinchen Street—check out the first photo! A worker shared that they’re aiming to wrap this up before school starts back at the end of January, and then they'll move on to continue the upgrades heading northwest on Chinchen.
Just a heads-up, though—the path from the corner of Clyde Street and Chinchen Street is closed off for now, as you can see in the last photo.
